DeCordova Museum Wedding, Jessica + Hadrien

Jessica and Hadrien met in class while attending UMASS. At first Hadrien played hard-to-get but eventually made his true feelings known by asking Jessica out on a real date (after a sort of non-date at a tailgating party). They endured long distance for the first few months of their relationship, went through 8 different apartments over the years, 9 jobs, two graduate degrees, purchased a home, and adopted their beloved dog Penny. Despite all these massive life changes, they never wavered in their love for each other. They were rewarded with the most beautiful wedding day at the DeCordova Museum.

If you're not familiar with it, the DeCordova is best known for its expansive and beautiful sculpture garden. The mix of serene natural surroundings filled with impressive artwork is built in entertainment for guests, and makes for such a lovely backdrop. The ceremony site was under two large trees with the wind softly blowing and sun glowing from behind.

Jessica's Stepfather officiated and delivered one of the most heartfelt and meaningful ceremonies. I highly recommend watching this beautiful New England wedding video if you are having trouble with ways to fill your non-denominational ceremony.

They surprised everyone (including us!) with a choreographed first dance where Jessica tossed a rose in the first 30 seconds.

The reception was filled with beautiful details, uproarious laughter and bilingual speeches, and of course some wild and memorable dancing. Certainly a day to remember for a long long time.

And now your moment of zen...
