The soft trickle of water hitting stone fountains and the familiar tune "Here Comes the Sun" ushered Jess down the aisle, along with her dad. Waiting at the altar, filled to the brim with anticipation was Kevin. As the setting sun sparkled off the lake behind them, they exchanged "I Do's" in the shortest ceremony humanly possible, only 7 minutes! But it's hard not to want to rush through after waiting 10 years as high school sweethearts.
A mere 5 hours later, I stood a surrounded by her closest friends and family in the same house where Jess put in her wedding gown that morning. They offered me sliders, coffee with home made almond milk, and answering questions about by my camera.
The kindness and friendliness of these complete strangers are a perfect reflection of who Jess and Kevin are as people. Sweet, Genuine, Caring, Loving. Even if Kevin can have a short fuse (so I’m told) his rough and cool exterior is best summed up by Jess’ dad, “I soon realized this guy’s heart is as big as his head.” 🤣Especially when it comes to Jess, he is a total softy.

We could not have ordered better weather for their November wedding. Those gorgeous orange and red leaves where still clinging on to their branches, the sun bathing us in the most delicious golden light. It's everything you dream of when you say, I want to get married in the fall!
