For centuries, mankind has made lists of the wonders of the world. I would like to submit Shelburne Vermont into the running. Super smart people like Krystin and Dan already knew this and chose to get married there I'm so excited to finally share their wedding film with you all and allow you to feast your eyes upon the gorgeous Vermont landscape!
They wisely added on Rehearsal dinner speech coverage since they had a smorgasbord of speeches. Stories and laughs were shared into the night, and ended with a private concert by a friend that played the same weekend of their first kiss. Such a fun night in Burlington :)
After sharing personal letters, they met for a first look on a dirt road leading up to the venue. A most perfect setting they had picked out themselves. We then wandered around the property with their crew of friends. Some lakeside views, some rustic barns, endless fields, pockets of forests. You know, normal most perfect place in the world kind of things.
But that's when mother nature brought a surprise! A passing thunderstorm about forty five minutes before the outdoor ceremony was schedule to begin. We took shelter and went forward with the beautiful Katubah signing and candle lighting in honor of their passed love ones. Then we all waited, with baited breath for the storm to pass ️
I wasn't originally going to share this but since they already spilled the beans in their killer review now I will! They had planned for that stunning Vermont backdrop to be the backdrop of their ceremony, and while we were waiting for the weather to clear, it wound up destroying the band's speaker setup. But Krystin and Dan knew I had my speaker and microphone in the car from the rehearsal the night before. With some very hurried set up and serious help from the planner, we got it up and running and proceeded with the outdoor ceremony of their dreams!
It all worked out in the end, and everyone danced the night away under the stars They worked tirelessly to plan something that their friends and family from near and far could enjoy. What we witnessed was such an emotional day, filled with every imaginable personalized detail. Plus Sammie the dog.
